    I am working on my rock shaft and came across this hole in the front of the transmission housing. Should there be some kind of plug in there to keep fluid from mixing. Thanks

    I think you're right. I need the older rod and the rest of the linkage. I am talking to Scott at Maine Tractor. He seems to have the lever, found him on the web. I am in Belen, NM and don't know of any tractor salvage yards around here.

    Just got this 530 and it only has a foot throttle. I need to bale with it so that's not gonna work. Did someone take it off and if so would it be tough to find the parts to refit one. Thanks Tommy
