71 3000 diesel plastic fuel line help

I attempted to put a new single filter base with glass bowl on the tractor. I can’t get these old lines to seal. Can someone tell me what I need to buy to replace these? I’d like to use flexible hose but have no idea what size or fittings to buy. Please help.

Your ferrules look to be pretty grooved thus they wont make a good seal between the nut and base. IF the plastic line is in good shape (somewhat flexible) remove the insert and take the ferrules off. Take it all to NAPA and get new ferrules. Place new ferrules on and replace the insert.
The banjo fitting probably needs new copper crush washers as well.

I found a specialty hose shop near me. Took him all the old lines and both filter housings. The original has a mich better fit and finish in the fitting area. He is making me new plastic lines. Problem solved. Thanks again to the forum. I can just put the glass bowl on the original housing and be done.
