    At the Left rear of the machine,there should be an ID plate ...I can't quite remember the exact location. There were E,F,G models .I think the G had a Turbo. Some years ago,I got lots of great info from ACMOC.

    Sean, Visit the REDPOWER FORUMS IH discussion site. There is a section for Crawlers,etc,plus an engines section. Also,there is some nice YouTube videos of old TD 6 & 9 Loaders working back in the day.

    Hi Grant, I am in Australia. I dealt with steeringclutch.com many times for my business. There were a few of those Hitachi dozers sold here. Many had Apex Swamp tracks fitted,having come out of rental fleets in Japan.

    case w7 loader

    I think there is quite a difference between the early & later W7s. The G models have a single trans lever under the steering wheel.The Loader boom etc are more modern .

    CASE 350 or JD 350 CRAWLER LOADER

    The Case 350 steering system is a P.I.T.A. Otherwise,it's a good tractor. Early JD 1010/2010 had an awful Liner deck in the engine. Not sure if the 350 improved on it. A Case 450 would be good buy.Only issue you hear is brakes not functioning,due to lack of use. Old crawlers can be a money...

    Purchase Advice

    Fiat 605 & 555 & IH TD5/500 are the crawlers that come to mind ,which are fitted with PTOs. These are small crawlers,the Fiat being special AG crawlers ,& slightly bigger than the TD5s. I've seen PTO fitted to other crawlers...IH TD6/TD9,Mitsubishi BD2,Komatsu,etc.
