What do you use for tire lube when mounting tires?

I use 2 different ones, Mike or Jerry at the tire place. They are the only ones that touch any of my tires, and Ive never seen them use any kind of lube, on any size or type of tire.

Ive done a couple in about a month, most took 6 - 8 months, but we didnt restore them to show them. They worked. Last 2 i did, my Cub took me less than a month, but it was aleardy in great shape, and my M took about 10 weeks, but it was mostly cosmetic and leaks.

One was bougfht by my gramps, and it mostly say in his barn, and another we would often use during the winter pulling a trailer for firewood...

    Need a Farmall H All-Fuel Sediment Bowl

Since no one has mentioned it, and there will be some that argue it, but on a 39 the sediment bowl assembly would have been on the small starting tank, and IIRC that was a different assembly.

    Will this charger overcharge?

We had one of those, left it on batteries overnight with no issues. It worked great for years until someone, wont say who, ran it over with the seed truck.

    Farmall cub timing

Not much of a spark IMO. You running solid core wires? You need to swap the wires and/or plugs to a different cylinder and see if the problem follows the plug/wire, not just switch 2 and 3. Since you havent dont that, or have you and I missed it, Ill assume the plug is bad.
