Hi hobo, so If I understand you correctly the alternator is better then a generator and my amp meter is a p.o.s? Things seem to be working correctly or so I think. I have not tested the battery yet but I can if needed. -

Sean, I started the tractor and at low idle the ammeter was under 0 see pic, i then raised the rpm and it jumped to 10 to 20 then it settled down to a bit over 0 see attached pic. I noticed the higher I go with the rpm the more the needle bounces. This post was edited by PB4402 on... -

Fixed the squeal....I noticed the belt was not on the motor pulley correctly. Not paying attention....my bad! Ammeter is about at 10, still an issue? -

Hi All! I Finally had some time to get back to it. I purchased a Denso mini one wire alternator and installed it. I had to purchase a mini alternator to clear the loader. I'm getting 12.5 volts at the battery before I start the tractor and after it's running and when I raise the rpm the volts... -

Hobo, Just so I understand this and get it straight. I buy the dash bulb and it goes on the dash and the connector (from ebay) that has the two wires goes to the two connections on the alternator one wire goes to the dash light and the other wire goes to? This should fix my issue of voltage... -
