    Mini lathe

If you are starting out, once you have the lowest priced lathe, you will be in a pickle sooner than later for a project needing a longer lathe to do the work. Here are the bottom ended sized Grizzly's, but for real practical work, their $1,550 priced unit would be ideal for starting out...

    Mini lathe

For awesome accuracy from the small to large size benchtop units, Grizzly lathes are highly rated. The pricing is attractive too. https://www.grizzly.com/search?c=Metal%20Lathes&t=Metal%20Lathes My workplace has 14 of these machines. They tossed out the Harbor Freight units that were...

Safety - First of the year, everyone replace your smoke detector batteries in your house and outbuildings.

Wrong time of the year to change them. Battery life in diminished as old product batteries are in stores. Best to change them on the Fall and Spring equinox. (y) If you find the 9VDC lithium batteries, they last 20 years without needing to check them. But at $9 a pop!

    Yanmar YM1500 Value?

It could, but not always. The YM1500 is geared low, so movement is slow in travel too. The YM1500 would likely match the JD650 gear tractor with loader and be slow as well. And the JD650 still holds it's value respectively. Now, if his machine was a YM1702D or YM1720D and loader combo...

    6v LED light

That is a nice one. I normally do a DC-DC 12 to 24VDC off solar to charge my Li power tool batteries. Yes, it is a must to run both wires to the lights, the two ground circuits cannot be mixed.

    6v LED light

Nearly all USB corded LED lights are rated for up to 6VDC. Some even work up to 8VDC.

How to have a thread pinned at the top of a certain tractor brand section?

We are now working on a new revision. Wondering if this is still possible now. I noticed in the Yanmar thread, there is a pinned topic.

    Yanmar YM1500 Value?

It is somewhat difficult to even estimate due to the very close up of the machine. If you could stand back, take a few more images of the left side profile, back, right side profile, the seat area and the dash controls, we could give a proper assessment. Otherwise, not running for the engine...

    Yanmar 2200

Ah, I thought you were from North Carolina. Actually you are in YANMAR HEAVEN out west. There are a few refurbish places out your way. Look for a 3-cylinder with PowerShift. This will give you a live PTO in each of the PowerShift bands. MCW has been selling reliable Yanmar rebuilt...

    Yanmar 2200

Some call me the Yanmar GURU, whatever. But, I would pass and run away from a YM2200 or YM2700 as the two are not related with parts to any other YM model. These were created for a certain niche to fill the Japan market. The high idle condition can be one of a few things. The simplest is a...

    ym3000 engine problem ?

For our Yanmar diesel injectors, I found this to work the best. Prior, I used Seafoam, that was alright, but the Gumout Multi-System Tune-Up is tops. It is formulated for diesel injectors.

Rear Main Seal - YANMAR 155D

Removing the rear Woods mower it simple enough off the 3-point. Common task for most of us with multiple rear attachments. See my reply in the other thread about the vent tube being clogged. IF clogged, then the engine pressure would find the weakest area to leak. Like @winston-HT said...

    YM155D Compression?

Just like modern vehicles with a PCV on the engine, the Yanmar diesel engines have vent tubes. You need to remove the engine vent tube and purge out the grime in there. Mud wasps love to plug it up.
