    Thanks GR! I knew it was larger than my 3/8”:))……I actually hit it a cpl of times w mallet and used vice grips to turn. Screen looked fine. I strained the fluid thru filter to refill and turned the DS valve on main pump a cpl times…….steering seems a bit better. Starting to wonder if maybe...

    Sorry, I tried DS and that didn’t work. I was referring to what appears to be the round access point just behind transmission filter. I assumed that was the long screen. It appears to have a larger than 3/8” Allen hole in center. Am I looking at wrong access point for screen?

    I put the transmission pump back in (had to remove to replace top synchro shaft which drives pump). Everything appeared to go in correctly. Also, I have run the tractor several times with zero problems steering, brakes etc. problems did not manifest until I aligned cam roller w the ltl arm...

    M-Man, Any suggestions on where I might locate the correct magnet for this job? I’ve blown thru 2 cheapies from harbor freight trying to get the afore mentioned nuts out of my transmission. So need look elsewhere for this one. Thanks!

    Thanks red, I think you are correct re: shifters. I actually got axles turning in all gears except entire 2nd range is dead. 4th (I think 2nd range) actually seems to bind/grind. I wish someone had a pic of exact orientation of cam and top shift lever in park (the normal stopped position)...

    Ok guys, thought I had everything covered after replacing clutch discs and top shaft in tranny. Fired her up today w rear blocked (no wheels) to test tranny. Shifts fine but nothing moves……I replaced the top shifter shaft seal and am wondering if it’s not aligned properly going thru cam...

    Thanks to all for the great help thus far! Now I’m trying to get the steel hydraulic lines connected under dash. This is proving to be a real pain. Any helpful hints appreciated! Also, which goes to the short and which goes to the longer line under dash? Thanks!
