    I will never go back

I've had two Bushhog 3008 twin spindle rotary mowers, down to one as I am downsizing my operation. 5mph with an 8' cut, up to 3 acres per hour, they have been a real money maker for me.

listening to a radio while working

I've used a 'worktunes' headset for years, it not only makes the hours go by faster, but my ears are clean when I am done and my cap is still on....I also wear them when riding the sxs out on the trails.

    Old style removeable valve stem

Stopped by a major chain and showed them this pic and they brought me the newer style...I showed them the pic again and he said no one uses them anymore...I told him I was someone! The other gal there said I had a point LOL! I thanked them and said I would be ordering online...

    Old style removeable valve stem

I've tried that, just got a dumb look...was hoping for a part number I could look up on the internet.

    Old style removeable valve stem

I have some old rear tractor tires that have a female threaded sleeve on the removeable part of the valve stem. Does anyone know what these were called, I'd like to see if I could find some new ones but haven't had any luck.

Super Rhino Blade Doesn't fully hitch

If the arms can spread wider, buy a couple of Cat II pins and attach them to the outside holes. They are available with different diameter threaded ends.

    Deckover, dove tail vs. straight

Hey I have a dovetail jig, can I make a trailer with it LOL!

    Deckover, dove tail vs. straight

You can have the manufacturer (or dealer) de-rate the trailer to 10k, of course you can not cross a scale with the trailer loaded more than that. When I ordered my PJ 22' deckover trailer I asked that it be de-rated so I could stay under the 26k CGVWR of my dually (13025#) and trailer (12,900#)...

Commercial use flail or rotary advise?

I started out with a 6' cutting in circles, could never go back. Twin spindle does such a nice job mulching and no rooster tails the next day!

    Deckover, dove tail vs. straight

I would get a 12 or 14k beaver tail deckover and have them de-rate to 10k before registering it. You will get a lot better built trailer than a flimsy 10k....I buy my 14k trailers de-rated to 12,900 to avoid the cdl requirement with my one ton dually.

Commercial use flail or rotary advise?

I've been custom hogging for years with this setup, can go back and forth so the field looks like a lawn when done. Plenty of happy customers charging $100 an hour, usually around $40 an acre max. 8' Bushhog 3008 and Allis Chalmers 175 diesel (slightly modified). You would have to be flying to...

JD 520 with Oliver manure spreader

The idea of a front unload spreader was to move the weight to the tractor for better traction when unloading...it didn't catch on and not many were made, which in the end makes them a collector item.

    Bush hog blade nut size.

My older 8' took a 1 5/8 socket, my newer one (2016) is 42mm. Your best bet would be to buy a 3/4" drive socket set because you will need that size of breaker bar to get to 800 ft/lb of torque. You will also need an extension to reach thru the deck. I use a ten foot cheater pipe on my breaker...
