    David Brown 990

Hello. I needed to clean the nylon screen in the hydraulic valve assembly of my tractor, but I also took out the hold valve plug, and the little steel ball seems to have rolled down along the side of the valve assembly. I removed the control lever assembly housing since that was quick, and...

John Deere 336 Baler Cluster Gear

Thanks. I did clean it good, and when I had to take it off a few times to get the timing just right it did slide off easily. I'll remember that for next time though. Thanks.

John Deere 336 Baler Cluster Gear

Thank you for the help. I had a smaller gear puller, and the person that owned this property before me left a big one in the barn. Couldn't get either to work, so I went to Tractor Supply and got a 6 puller that worked perfectly. Got the baler timed and made a 170 bales yesterday before the...

    John Deere 30 Ejector

Thank you for the reply. The belts seem good, and the tray does not wave at me, it stays extended. I will be using it on Friday and will take a closer look at everything. I know if I put the dial on 8 it would throw the bales on the ground behind the wagon. Can't remember if the wagon is 16...

    John Deere 30 Ejector

Thank you for the input. I don't have a lot of hay left to do so I don't know if I want to take my cylinder apart now, but I do keep the detent pieces clean under that cap so I don't think that's the problem. Thanks again.

    John Deere 30 Ejector

Hello. My number 30 ejector works fine if I have the dial set at 4 to 5 or higher. But when I want to decrease the distance to load the front of a wagon it has problems. The arms will extend but they will not retract. Any idea what I need to look for? Thank you very much in advance.

    Chain saw adjustment update

I have three chains, two of them I got from the dealer when I purchased the saw. I have been using the same chain now for many years. When I could not adjust it properly I tried the other two and they would not adjust either. Thanks.

    Chain saw adjustment update

Thanks again to everyone for all their help. If anyone is interested my original post is on page two somewhere. I got a new sprocket for my saw on Friday and that helped a little bit, but then I purchased a new bar yesterday and that allows me to adjust the saw properly, even though the...
