    I hav working KUBOTA's and hav KUBOTA 55 Gal/ Drums of Kubota UDT Hydraulic oil and I use that in my CUB no trouble at all. John Deere hy Guard tc. is also a fine hydraulic substitute also. Shell Rotella 15W 40 engine oil is fine for the engine......

    3N1 Oil is good., Or any 20 Wt. is good. Hard to fin though. So many do not know but hydraulic Jack Oil is bountiful and is pure 20 Wt. Oil. I hav used it now like this for over 40 yrs. and no trouble.

    No IH FARMALL Hy-Tran Oil avail. not avail. any where close to me. Reading other post thy say IH Farmall used straight 30 Sae motor oil from factory back the in 1950's. ???Anothr reason and I hav an abundance of Kubota Oil as I hav 4 Kubota tractors on the Farm.

    I just saw in a thread where h stated that IH Farmall Cub at least use at first from factory I think it was a Sae 30 weight straight engine oil, and so did he without any problems. ???It seems as it is not too big of a deal as to what.
