    Speaking of roofing...

I'd agree. As roofers go, my brother is one. I couldn't imagine working on a roof all day...day after day. Normally, what they charge is understandable. I certainly can't speak for all situations, but I know how some insurance roof jobs go. Often time one bid is accepted and it is much...

    Speaking of roofing...

It's called insurance fraud. No wonder why everyone is paying through the nose for insurance. It's ridiculous. Contractors always overbid an insurance job and the morons just pay it. We all suffer.

    John Deere bale thrower.

What you are saying is true, but I don't believe that's his problem. The pan for whatever reason stays extended. I think there's a relief on that cylinder that acts up. Reset the lockout and pan returns to locked position. Like I said, it happened periodically on ours....not often enough...

    John Deere bale thrower.

Ours would do that periodically. We simply reset it with the safety or lockout (pan can't kick) and it reset and would work just fine.

injection pump won't keep its prime.

My uncle's skidder did this. It was a leaky fuel line in in the tank that was the culprit. Might have been the return..i can't remember, but definitely an air leak like FM says.

When the pan is in the air....after you reset the safety, does it not reset?

    Tee post pounder

It depends on the ground. It it's hard ground the pounder is faster and less of a hassle especially if it is a six foot post.

    How to spread sawdust?

We used newspaper for bedding with the cows for decades. Also, used leaves from the cottonwoods in the yard as well. Soil was as productive as you'd find. Granted we'd add lime from the barn floor to reduce the acidity.
