    3 Point Without Draft Parts

Here is my plan on re-directing the trans disconnect out the side. I removed the pto reversing valve and can re-use the shaft and the latch mechanism from the top plate. Just need to make a couple linkages and drill a couple shallow holes in the side for the latching points.

    3 Point Without Draft Parts

I was looking at the pto again tonight. I think have a solution. The holes that the gearbox mount to measure out the same as the pto quill on a 5020. I think if I use a 5020 quill/shaft assembly and cut the shaft just inside the quill bearing and coupler it to the 760 shaft. It may be...

    3 Point Without Draft Parts

Even though there are boss holes in the trans, they don't measure out the same as the 5020 and therefore the wishbone/bolster from a 5020 won't work. Will have to figure a way to design one. What is your plan on a drawbar? I was a bit discouraged to see no tapped holes under the belly for a...

    3 Point Without Draft Parts

Not as much as I'd like. What you see there took less than 2 days. But that's the easy part. The rest will be harder.

    3 Point Without Draft Parts

The oil tube hole on the 6030 rockshaft is a tad out of line. Not much but the disconnect is right in-line with the other bolt holes, whereas the oil tube is slightly rearward. So I'm thinking about making a linkage and running it either thru the trans cover or out the side of the trans case...

    3 Point Without Draft Parts

Excellent. I will see what I can do. I'm a little ways from that stage. Here are some pics to show my progress. I was hoping 5020 finals would work but the planetaries and brakes are all different. So I will have swap 5020 axles into the 760's housings. I just pulled the trans cover off...

    3 Point Without Draft Parts

This may sound confusing but I am starting a new project and it's rather ambitious. But I'm building a 6030 powershift using a 760A PS transmission. The trans case itself is quite similar to a 5020. In fact a 531T bolts right up to it. The casing has plugs in the sides near the axles...

    JD Head on Claas 116

It has a Cat 3306. The wheel version has a Mercedes but the units they brought over and converted to Cat tracks, they also swapped in the Cat motor. I was told it was pushing around 300 hp.

    JD Head on Claas 116

I bought a 116 CS Mobil Track a couple years ago with hopes of getting it back in the field one day. This combine hasn't ran crop in probably a decade or two so just going thru and making sure things are working. I literally fired the separator up for the first time just this weekend. I wish I...

    Replacement serial tag

I'm restoring a 72 model 3020D and the serial tag is pretty beat up. Is there a way to get a reproduction made?

    Claas 228 Combine Track Machine

Hi Brent. I believe we have chatted before. I have two 116 MTS. One that runs and the other with a seized motor. What exactly are you looking for?

JD 7520 Sound-Gard Hydraulic Issue Fixed, Finished Photos

A couple weeks ago I was having issues with my 3pt not working properly and only seeing 1600 psi at the rockshaft. I pulled the RH tank off and pulled the priority valve apart to find the spool completely stuck in a slightly pushed back position. Once freed, all is working. The tire man came...

    Troubleshoot 7520 3Pt Tim S.

This is the 2nd main pump I've had in it with the same result. The first one started leaking around the shaft so I dropped in a fresh reman from abilene machine. I would assume that they had it set properly. I'm just thinking out loud but would it read low due to an internal leak not holding...

    Troubleshoot 7520 3Pt Tim S.

I don't think the cover is the culprit. But I wondered if perhaps the o-rings on the tubes that connect the rockshaft valve to the rockshaft housing could be issue. My next step was to cap off the line to the rockshaft and get a pressure reading but I will have to remove the left fuel tank to...

    Troubleshoot 7520 3Pt Tim S.

I am a bit perplexed with the 3pt on my 7520. It was working perfectly before I broke it down to paint. Now that it's back together, it doesn't seem to want to lift properly. The only thing I did was that I installed new draft bushings and new shaft. I had no trouble at all. The old shaft...

    Claas 228 Combine with Tracks

I discovered on my machine that the issue was in the steering gearbox under the cab. You will def. want to check that out. Sometimes I would get steering one direction and not the other. When the wheel returned to middle position, the machine was always in a constant steer. You could use the...

What is up with JD Online Parts

Hasn't been that long, but went into the system at https://partscatalog.deere.com/jdrc/ and noticed no prices were showing and my dealer had been De-Selected for some reason. Tried to select a dealer and it proceeds to tell me that it is re-directing me to here...

4020 weep holes seeping after rebuild.

I just had a 404 rebuilt in a 4020 and the rear-most weep hole is dribbling motor oil after only a few hours of running. The oil and coolant are both clean still. Thoughts?
