    Help me understand wheel options

Ive got a Case VAC and 300 (similar size tractors and tires/wheels to your ford) The VAC had 11.2x28 rears and the 300 had 12.4x28 rears. I upgraded the 300 to 14.9x28 radials and would not go back now. The 12.4x28s then went down to the VAC. Both tractors sit taller now and have faster speeds...

    Interesting video for everyone

They had been wire wheeled but still had some residual rust/grime on them. The laser removed it to more of a virgin/grey metal state. These will be getting poly moldboard covers so I just wanted to make sure there was little rust before painting them to prevent more rust.

    Case Eagle Hitch Plow Dilemma

Yes, you could but I believe you would need to cut the reinforcing backbone and ruin it as a 4 bottom. I would say go for an already 2-3btm if possible or if you really want the 4 get the poly moldboard kits which pull easier giving you more capacity to plow in hard conditions. I would say don’t...

    Case Eagle Hitch Plow Dilemma

I'm not trying to instigate anything here John I am just trying to get the gentleman what info. I have. While these two models are not exactly the same as the 3 bottom in the picture I believe the pivot function can still be seen on the cross bar. Hoping to call in someday soon for parts. Case...

    Case Eagle Hitch Plow Dilemma

They both should have pivot capacity. The newer case plows can be locked out for traditional 3pt or left unrestricted for the rigid eagle hitch.

    Case Eagle Hitch Plow Dilemma

The one on the left (3btm) is a M series (MT-MTA ect.) I have a 2btm version I am restoring currently. Has individual spring trip bottoms. Also has the newer plow bottoms that you can find parts for easily still. The one on the right is a 4btm model BER with the optional hydraulic mast/toplink...

    Case Eagle Hitch Plow Dilemma

No brainer, go with the 3. Cheaper to get parts for. (3 instead of 4 bottoms) Easier to pull. Easier to lift. Easier to load on a trailer.
