1953 Ford NAA Jubilee randomly dying and not restarting.

When you replace the rotor, be careful not to lose the small metal clip that holds it snugly to the shaft. If you want a quality rotor, go to NAPA and get a FA67 rotor. It is the same rotor Ford used in the Falcon and Mustang 6-cylinder cars.

Ford 900 Series Power Steering Cylinder Seal Kit

As an update now that the snow and ice here have finally melted, I had to polish out a rough spot on the rod with some 1500 grit sand paper. After that I reattached the rod with new bushings and fired it up. The power steering now works great, it’s really smooth, and no leaks!

    MF245 Tie Rods

I’m about to pop my steering tie rods off to replace the boots which are now pretty much non existent. I can’t find anything in the service manual regarding tie rods and how tight they should be torqued to. Does anyone know the specs they should be torqued to?
