New Shop Build - Have a Leak

After looking at the lack of framing around that garage door, you need to hire 730 to come and do the reconstruction of your entire bldg. Appears to me water is the least of your worries. I just hope the big bad wolf does not come to see you. no need to respond. I'll offer no advice because...

No help for the model, but I've seen plenty of pictures of how they attached to the drawbar on this site. Twas a joyous day when I purchased a mower conditioner and said good bye to a cycle bar mower. gobble

    Hose clamps

Personally, after having two episodes of flood, I'd go with a brass hose barbed fitting if available. The hot water, heat gun, propane torch idea sounds like a great addition to fixing the problem. jmho good luck, gobble

New Shop Build - Have a Leak

RTR, go to your local bldg supply and purchase a concrete gridder that fits on your four inch grinder. Angle that concrete down from the door line, give it as much angle as you care to grind. Then cut the bottom of your door jamb and trim off a quarter inch or so and caulk with silicone caulk...

37" Wide Belt Sander Leaves the Farm

sure could push a lot of lumber thru a 37inch throat, I've seen a few estate auctions recently that had somewhat expensive and specialty tools/equipment still in the box. Guess they never got "a round tuit" or their plans were changed, gobble

    HOT ROD

I too have seen them advertised and marveled at how they worked. There are times when the hot wrench,(acetylene/oxy) just is too much or too dangerous, but with their price tag and the few times it seems I need it, I have passed on purchasing. NOW, I fully appreciate the odd ball wrench or tool...

    Speaking of roofing...

You probably won't see hail damage on your neighbors house from your house, or even the ground around his house. Hail produces divots or depressions in the roofing material, it stretches the material and creates a weak spot. the granular material will be loosened but not fall out immediately...

    Sad News

Please extend condolences to the family from the group here. I recall questioning his herd liquidation, he indicated "it was time". I guess he knew. He was a thoughtful and productive asset to the Case group. RIP Kow Farmer Kurt. gobble

Got a bunch of work done on my 530

Jon is a very valuable asset to this Case forum. With him, 1370Rod, Dieseltech, casecollector and olgentDC and others contributing there is not much that could not be repaired. IMHO. If I left you out please don't be hurt my memory and my hair is very short. lol gobble

    Super H trans

Jim. now that I have the top off of the transmission, I am happy to report that the shifting fork that holds the 4/5 slider in 5th (road) gear shows no unusual wear at all. My Granddaughters husband drives this tractor on a 3 day tractor ride, usually covering 160 miles. each year. Its been...

The bearing housing has a casting # 6577 D, the transmission case casting # is 658037RI. Don't really know that I can conclude anything here unless all castings for Super H's have the r1 suffix. With such a short run of Super H's I can understand why no mfg. has tooled up to make the 358024R1...

    Super H trans

Chapter III of this long ordeal. lol. I have gotten the tractor split and the "input gears and shaft" or input shaft as some call it removed. All the bearings gently removed.
