    To have any speed and strength with a backhoe mounted on just about any tractor of that era (short of one purpose-built for a backhoe), you would have to set up a hydraulic pump to run off the belt pulley drive or the PTO. I've seen a few different setups, some more professional than others.

    I have a Pelican 3315 that's bright and is only on-off, no other modes. Been good so far. I've also had great luck with the Nitecore rechargeable flashlights I've had, although they are a bit pricey. Crazy bright for a small flashlight though.
