    Thanks for the info. I know with the tractor not in tow I can not feel or hear any change. I can hear the oil flow thru pto valve when engaged.

    Well now my 4230 powershift stoped moving along with the pto, all the other hydraulic functions are working. Did a quick check and clutch pressure check and that fine. So I am guessing it's time for a split? (11000 hrs). Any ideas where to start? Thanks

    All the hyd functions work great and makes no noises when it runs. Will not move with diff locked.

    I just got a call from my neighbor planting beans with my 4840 and said it made a noise and stoped moving. No oil leaks or anything easily to fix. Would it possibly be the damper? It just had hyd filters changed with no debris in oil. Thanks!

    Why would you use a broadleaf herbicide to make wheat die? Wheat is a grass. Round up what everyone I know uses That's what I was thinking! Broadleaf herbicide would be a waste of money to try to kill wheat. I have only heard of round up being used. Sounds like someone is guessing at the problem.
