    vermeer 554xl round baler

    Run far and fast. I had a 504F which was a good machine so I went to a 554 XL, had a lot of trouble starting a bale, the twine arms were junk and the net wrap was also problematic. I know of another guy who also had a lot of trouble with his XL who later went to a 504N and was happy with it.

    If you want a Massey find an 1105 or 1135. The 24 speed power shift in the 2000 series was a major factor in Massey Ferguson going bankrupt.
