    Well I felt confident that I had a top link for that tractor and I did some searching and found the correct top link, pin, and one spacer. The hole in the top link that connects to the tractor measures 1 3/8. Is there supposed to be a bushing in there?

    Are you sure the pin is 1 1/8? I think the outside diameter of the bushings are 1 1/8. I thought the the pin would be be 7/8 or 3/4.

    I have a 39 DC that doesn’t have an external filter also. I didn’t think any tractor built in the 50’s would have been built without one. I might just leave this tractor as it is. I won’t do much hard work.

    Thanks for the input. The cover on my engine that covers the place where the filter housing mounts looks like an original case part. Is it possible to remove the relief valve from the filter base?
