    You need a book for rate chart. You can shift gears on the transmission and maybe sprockets on the transmission drive.. The seed plates also needs to be right. Seed bags used to have recommended plate on a chart. That's the planter we used up till the late 70s.

    3020 govener surging

    3020 gas hunts or surges under light loads. It seems to pull like a freight train if you load it heavily ( stepping on brakes). Linkage is free between throttle shaft and govener . Is there an adjustment to make govener less sensitive? Any ideas?? Thanks

    JD 3010 LP

    There is a sump on the carburetor, I have seen a grease build up there and it will mess up starting. There is a 1/4 " Allen plug on the bottom of the carb. Take it out and run a wire up there, if there is a greasy substance on the wire use carb cleaner and wire to clean out.

    730 Diesel exhaust leak

    Exhaust leaks out under hood,pipe does not seal tightly into bottom of oval muffler. Any suggestions to stop this?
