    Need help with wide front

When you do Other side, get it red hot, stick a chunk of candle or canning wax in that joint of the tubes, leather gloves, it'll flame up some, but it will suck in there to lube, and bust the rust. Might take two or three heat cycles, but it works. GG

    Assessing clutch wear

Pretty clean looking there. We plan on using the 880, after spending money on the other parts, we weren't ready to leave the older clutch in there. Good job. Keep it going. Will be a great tractor to utilize. Ours is on brushog and the wood splitter. GG

    Assessing clutch wear

My 880 clutch was very similar to yours. In my opinion, replace it! Look at the one side where those rivets are close to the surface. How much clutching do you do? When was this one put in, ie how long did this last, that will take you into the future.... I bought my set-up from here, ASAP...

    880 progress?

Glad you made it in safe, our weather has been different. 74' today, nice and sunny, local electric coop says still 600+ meters not back up running yet. Lots of tree limbs and rough country to work through. Look at Truman lake, Northwest part is affected by the last storms. Thanks for sharing...

    880 progress?

Chipping away at the 880 project. Got the flywheel and thrust bearing torqued down, then realized that the clutch disc dampener center was too sloppy to put back in. This has a power booster behind it, we've rebuilt it, so figured we'd better put new clutch and pressure plate in there. I called...

    Removing 1550 lift arms

We used wax on neighbors chisel plow hydraulic cylinder top pin, so they could replace cylinder. That old hadn't been off since original. Rosebud heat, wax, sledge, repeat, Third cycle that wax sucked in there over halfway and we beat the pin out with a ball peen hammer. It works! There's block...
