    Oliver 1650 diesel coolant heater

    If you dont use the tractor too often I like the magnetic oil pan heaters, can be moved to different tractors and heat the oil for faster lubrication which coolant heaters do not.

    You also need a good ground, make sure the distributor has good ground to block, also the plate that holds the points, take it out clean it up and make sure it will have a good ground.

    Wide vs Narrow Front End

    Some single fronts here in Colorado, used for cultivating irrigated crops that were ditch irrigated, especially sugar beets which were narrower rows than corn, even some JD 3010s with single fronts. Cant say as I ever saw an oliver 4 digit with a single front.

    Oliver 770 can't get PTO shaft back in

    most likely it is hanging up on the hydraulic pump splines and when you turn it to line up it is also turning the pump even thou it is not engaged. try turning the shaft quickly and reinsert, may take some time but it will go in.
