Regarding cab glass. How long available

Not to highjack the next thread but does anyone know how many years a tractor , manufacturer produces the fancy curved glass and “newer” tractor cabs. It seems that it would be a heck of a problem to replace broken cab glass when it fails for those of us who run old equipment

    Long 350 tractor

Ok, I will be the other voice:). Bought a long 350 fifteen years ago, Romania made. Yup, hard to find parts for (are available), weak hydraulics, likes to blow seal in pump which puts hydraulic oil in crankcase,……cheap to purchase, runs for ever on a tank of fuel, great tractor to rake with...

New Holland 66 vs IH 50T

I agree. With old balers you need to know their personality, have parts easily available and a spare one ready to go. For me that means stay with the New Holland and find a parts machine for the fence row

While we are on batteries, what about load testers?

On the few tools I don’t own and yet it seems like it would be good to have. Does anyone have a recommendation for a specific model for use occasional at the farm.

    Dearborn 22-1 Cordwood Saw

For what it is worth, my springs have been broken/gone for years. Never been a problem and the table just needs to sit back far enough to fully clear the blade plus a little extra

I am still using old belts a lot cheaper than buying new but Page Belt here NH (on the web) sure could set you up. They have been supplying for years. I had them make up a belt for my cordwood saw back in the 80’s

Log splitters in the $1500 - $2000 range

Keith That is my experience exactly. I was sure it was not that much faster or could split difficult wood. Now I also have a close to new hydraulic splitter is the barn that I have t started in five years and most of my friends won’t believe the SuperS pitter is that good. And their customer...

Log splitters in the $1500 - $2000 range

I have burned wood for over forty years and I admit I hate change. I have used and built log splitters so I know the various advantages of several designs. Was finally talked into trying a supersplitter! All I can say is it is tremendously faster than a hydraulic splitter, just as safe. I...

    Ih 100 mower

Thanks for the replies. After Growing up unplugging a cuttingham conditioner way too often, it sounds like an awful bad idea on our small irregular New England fields. But I am smarter now :)
