I looked a little harder in the parts book and found it. Guess I'm a little rusty. Thank you for your time this morning.

    1070 PTO Problem Revisit

Found the PTO brake piston rod broken. Anyone know where to find one? Brake lining looks a little rough too, so I'd like to replace the whole thing. All discontinued in online parts book. John Saeli? Elmer's? Thank you for any leads.

    1070 PTO Stopped Working

That tiny roll pin and ball in the piston housing is intact. I may put the clutch back together and test with air pressure. It won't be 200 psi, but I can listen for leaks. I'm wondering if the 2 o-rings on the shaft or the sealing rings in the piston are bypassing oil, but they aren't damaged.

    1070 PTO Stopped Working

Maybe. I grabbed it at the rear and couldn't turn it by hand, but that doesn't mean much. I'll check on that.

    1070 PTO Stopped Working

To be clear, I unhooked the line that goes back to the PTO and put a gauge in its place on the flow divider valve.

    1070 PTO Stopped Working

I did not tee in. I deadheaded the valve pressure with a gauge

    1070 PTO Stopped Working

Hello, PTO stopped with a full bale in the chamber, ready to wrap. No noises, just stopped. The valve spool is working, and I have 180-200 psi oil at the valve. I removed PTO from tractor, and only 1 friction disk looks slightly worn. I rebuilt the clutch a couple years ago because it...

Sounds good. I'll look at the cab mounts. That's way cheaper than pump work. Thank you!

    1070 Engine RPM Flutter

Hello all, 1978 1070. Has an odd and very annoying stutter/flutter when hitting bumps. Rough ground is really hard on it. Seemed to come on suddenly. Still starts very well, no loss of power, no extra smoke. I installed new fuel filters and new air filter. You can't see it on the tach, but the...

    1070 Hydraulic Pressure

Just tested it and I've got around 2200 at idle!! Should be right where I need it. I added 2 shims made of steel siding trim, and subtracted one thin one. Fingers crossed this works!!!

I got it out! Jacked up the cab about 4" and got it with a regular ratchet.

    1070 Hydraulic Pressure

Thank you for replying. I just got it out. Jacked up the cab and got the bolt out. Sure is alot of goofing around for 1 plug and a dime thickness of shims.

    1070 Hydraulic Pressure

Hello all, Late 1070 only getting 1800 psi at the remotes at idle and 1850 psi at 2k rpm. I'd like to see 2250 psi for lifting a discbine. New pump is on the way, but I'd like to try shimming the relief valve first. Is there any way to get that relief plug out without removing the entire...
