    TO-35 new to me

I've never seen a 35 with 2 batteries. I'd be interested in seeing a couple of pictures of the tractor.

    Massey 65 diesel

I agree with the others who say these aren't a good thing. I didn't like that mine added some play in the hitch. That made it difficult to keep things where I wanted them. It wouldn't work on all my implements. Which meant I had to put it on and take it off frequently. I eventually sold...

    MF 35 + 65 alternator upgrade

I finally got it working. I ordered the alternator from this website. Made a new mount for it. When I got it installed, it didn't work. I took it off and took it to a NAPA store for testing. They said it didn't work. So I contacted the store through the website. They sent me a return...

    TO 35 lift arm extension

I have never seen any such thing. But it's an interesting idea. Two ideas come to mind. If you measure the length of the lift arms, you might be able to find longer ones. Seems to me there's more than one length available. Or you could maybe let a little air out of the rear tires.

    MF 35 + 65 alternator upgrade

The alternator came from this website. I just took it to NAPA for testing when it didn't work.

    MF 35 + 65 alternator upgrade

Thought I'd post an update. Fabricating an alternator bracket wasn't too difficult. I cut slotted holes in it so I could adjust the position a little to line up the pulley with the other pulleys. It took 2 tries to find the correct belt length. I Re-wired it based on the wiring diagram...

    What is it for?

My guess is that it's a home-made rod to help keep mud from building up between the tires. But it's just a guess.

Massey Ferguson 35 running on only 2 cyl

It might be a long shot, but - The firing order is 1-3-4-2. Is it possible that plug wire 2 and 4 got switched?

    MF 255 power steering

Don't over-think it. Most any hydraulic oil will do.

    Mf42 sickle mower parts availability

You can get the part numbers from the AGCO online parts books. Then search for them online. You can get sickle sections and guards easily. But other stuff - Not so much.

    New MF245 Owner

I use UTHF (universal tractor hydraulic fluid) from the local NAPA. For filters, I'd suggest getting numbers off your existing filters where possible. Then you can cross-reference the numbers. Where that's not possible, you can look things up on http://www.agcopartsbooks.com You'll most...

What can my brush hog... hog!?

My opinion is that you can probably cut something up to about a 2" diameter. But you'll be pushing the mower hard. I've seen the gearboxes break. I've also seen the mower deck break due to the torque of the gearbox. So I wouldn't suggest pushing your luck.

    Replacement Harness MF245

I ordered one for my MF 285 after a fire. Got it from this place: https://wiringharnesses.com About half of it was wrong. Took a lot of work to make it right. So I don't recommend them.

massey ferguson 35 combine for sale? Deal or no deal

That's a very small combine, and very old. It would be all but impossible to get parts for. I wouldn't recommend pursuing it.

    Remote hydrolics T0 35

It will work. But a TO 325 does not have much hydraulic capacity. So everything will be very slow.

I have the same problem with my MF 285. Was watching this thread hoping you'd find a solution.

MF 135 Diesel Hasn't Run In 8+ Years.

I bought a 255 that had sat for ~10 years. It might not have been too bad to get running. But after 8 or 9 years someone tried to start it without doing anything to it. They pumped black sludge from the fuel tank all the way through the fuel system and injector pump. The injector pump was...

    Maximum Vertical Drawbar Load???

I have never heard of one breaking. If the front end stayed on the ground, I suspect you're O.K.

    MF 285 sloppy steering

Thanks for responding. Yes, when you lift up on the steering wheel, the shaft lifts up a little too. The nut is tight that holds the steering wheel to the shaft. I changed the pump because the steering barely worked. After changing it, the steering works great. No leaking fluid that I can...

    MF 285 sloppy steering

Thought a couple of pictures might help. One shows the steering column at rest. The other one shows how it raises up when you turn the wheel. .
