    I have run into this problem before with replacement rotors. Once I had to tap the rotor down because it wasn’t seating all the way down the shaft. It was causing the same problem you are describing. Are you sure the rotor is all the way down?

    Check the filter. I know you said you just put in a new filter but check it again. I changed the filter in mine and it acted like it was blocked on suction. Finally I checked the new filter and it was clogged up. I agree with Fritz, really sounds like suction side.

    OTJ, Same here, my incorrect gasket thickness measured .019. Really sucks breaking all that nice paint. Just for the archives here is a picture up of the wrong gasket and the correct CNH gasket. My correct gasket measured .005.

    Fritz, Sorry, I made a typo on the seven thousandths dimension. The gear with was within .001. I meant ten thousandths. The .002 to .006 tolerance is exactly the info that I was looking for. My pump variance is within .001 so with the .004 gasket I feel comfortable. Thanks guys.

    I never really got a great measurement, because the gears themselves varied in thickness from one point to another on the same gear. One measurement would read 7 ten thousandths above the case surface, another point was 7 thousandths below. Once I measured the gear width I understood why...
