1100 Massey rear rims

My cousin owns a 1100 Massey that has 34" power adjust rear rims. One rim has a bad valve stem hole. Need to find a replacement rim or repair this one. Were they all power adjust style rims? Can the 6 blocks that hold the rim to the center be swapped out to a different style block and then use a more common double bevel rim? Or does the whole center have to be swapped out for a non power adjust wheel?

He would like to put 38" rubber on the rear. Did they offer 38's on 1100's? How common are they or is there centers that would interchange from another series?

Lots of questions,lots to answer. The 1100 was sold with 32,34,& 38" manual adjust. Or, 34 or 38
in the 6 rail power adjust, or 34 or 38" in the
8 rail power adjust (P.A.V.T.)and even more for
special applications. Most earlier 1100's in our
area were sold with 34"pavt the first years and
then 38" pavt in later years. The cast centers
need to match the rims. Chuck

ebay 1 day and 12 hrs left (Massey section) item
# 170486893589. Says tires are no good. I believe

Thanks for the info Chuck.
Those on eBay say they fit 1100 and 1130? Is that correct?
Too bad those rims are so far away.

You can upgrade to 38" wheels but will need to swap out the center casting as well. They are easy to change out and wheels off a 1100/1130/1150 1105/1135/1135 will work. the later 05 series wheels were 8 spinout wheels and will work on your tapered hubs. A 34" 6 rail spin out rim is probably your best and cheapest route and one off a Massey, Allis, and maybe an Oliver will work. I replaced one on my 1080 a while back for around 75$. Give the guys @ Worthington Ag parts a call and they will get you going.
