Make sure this idle .04 circuit hole is clear to main jet . I use a .04 number drill by hand twisting it to clear it. I will not idle is plugged , and I found no amount of carb cleaner would clear mine. Had to driill the crusty stuff out . shineclight into it to see it’s open to main jet . ggood luck

10-4 I cleaned this out really good. Blows free with carb cleaner

Went through the carb 4x and cleaned everything with carb cleaner, drill bit, compressed air, carb cleaner. Still leaks. I poured a bit of oil down each cylinder and with the plugs out the motor spins very quickly(no compression) With plugs in, it spins very slowly bc of compression. I even took the manifold off just in case a mouse decided to make a home there but it was clear.

Last time this tractor was running, I had to cut out a new gasket by hand. I distinctly remember cutting out the shape of #1 and #2 but I can not find any gaskets that match up to this. Can anyone confirm this is the correct gasket?

Well....I got it to run. The ONLY thing I did was reposition the venturi bowl so that the flat spot was facing the fuel bowl. Fired right up in a thick cloud of smoke. I let it run for 2-3 secs and shut it down immediately. Gas still drips from the carb air intake to air cleaner connection though.

Currently charging the battery and will work on getting the exhaust back on. The oil thats in it now was changed back in 2011. Should I let that run for a bit or change it immediately?

Good for you. Got yourself a decent tractor there.

Update: I was having a lot of issues with it not cranking, even with a full battery. Looked at the starter switch and it wasnt bad, just some light discoloration. Noticed the cables were smoking, probably a lot of corrosion inside. I went ahead and made all new 1/0 battery cables and grounded it at the starter bolt. Tractor cranks on the first try with no issues. Idles perfectly. Drove it up the driveway and back. FIrst time I've driven it since 2010-11. Need to get the hydraulic's working now but I have a running tractor :)

Thanks again to everyone here with the suggestions and feedback.

You may not be getting full voltage though the ignition switch, if the switch is bad. Run a wire from the battery directly to the coil to bypass the switch and see if spark is better. Also sand the points a little with some very very fine sandpaper. I've had brand new ones that I had to sand to get them to fire properly.

Hydraulics work. It was about a 1/2 gal empty. Goes up and down smoothly but I'll rebuild the rear cylinder at some point. One of the touch controls is frozen. I'll start figuring that out soon.
