Hello, I'm new to this forum and also new to tractors period. I bought my first tractor last year and it has been the best toy I've ever owned, I also use it to work around my property. I wish could drive this thing all day. It recently started to leak from the injection pump so I ordered a new kit with all the seals gaskets and washers to replace the old ones. I know this is usually done by pros but I just can't afford to spend nearly a thousand dollars when the only problem seemed to be coming from just one of the banjo bolts. The leak is coming from the banjo bolt near the engine block. This is my second attempt to fix this pump as the first one didn't work out. I ordered a cheap kit and either the metal washers were junk or I didn't tighten the bolts enough. Anyways, does anyone know the torque specs on the pump? I'm getting pretty good at taking it apart and putting it back together if you ignore the fact that the first time I did it leaked even more than originally.

Any help would be appreciated.

THOUSANDS?? Most pumps like yours I can repair/calibrate and return in the 400/450 range. The steel banjo bolt washers I use work well when fully seated by hand, THEN 1/3 turn more and stop.
