I have a 2-105 that is very hard to shift. Grinds going in and is hard to get out. Dosent seem to matter if the torque is in under direct or over. Has had clutch put in a couple years ago along with new top shaft due to transmission locking up. Any ideas on what could cause this ?

Going in to hear from neutral, it'll go in best in direct. The O/U doesn't like to stop spinning in under. Taking it out of gear, best to have it in under. Those units don't like to turn backwards, but in under they go in to free wheeling so the transmission should release easier.. Only other things I can think, adjust the linkage, or you have a pilot bearing going bad and it's dragging. If it was replaced with the clutch job, it shouldn't be going already I wouldn't think.
