Replaced fuel filter above sedimentary bowl. Now it won t start. Turns over fine. Getting fuel out of injectors w/o air when cracked. Getting fuel w/o air at port to injector pump. Last place manual suggests to bleed air from is thermostat fuel feed and I can t get fuel to that. Seem like no fuel going from fuel filter assembly to that line
It is a Massey 271 with the Perkins 1004.4 Made in Turkey. It seems like air in the thermostat fuel feed like shouldn t prevent it from starting or staying running.
I can get it to run good for about 1 minute and then it shuts down. All connections are tight. All new gaskets on filter and housing and bowl and drain plug.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
