310 rod bearing

Does anyone have a source for 880 rod bearings that are .030 undersize. It has the 2.437 crank, not the 2.250 as the 88's had. It seems that aren't being made anymore. Tried Maibach, Arrow engine parts, and a few other places. I struck out everywhere. Only thought was to use an 88 rod and grind the crank to 2.250 if I can't find any.

Looks like the Clevite/Mahle part # you need is CB-703P-30. I think i think I think (don't hold me to this) the Reliance part # is 291155 or RP396-30, which may be the same as Case/IH part #RP936-30X. I too think they've been discontinued but Jensales shows them in stock, but not cheap.

I checked with Reliance and Jensales with no luck. I can get std, .010 and .020, but not .030.

Is this a diesel? If ground to .030 under I think you will be past the hardened surface. Maybe why you cant find .030 under bearings? You have me confused with the 310 heading?

My Sealed Power Catalog lists .030 a rod bearing
#CB-703P-30 , for Oliver.
Waukesha 310 both gas or diesel lists CB-1136-30,
I don't know if either or both are correct #s for your application.

It appears they all used the same bearing on the .2437" cranks, from the 265 (which I believe is the 880) through the 310, according to a few application lists I've seen. The clevite/mahle catalog lists options all the way to .040 under. I can usually find a cross referenced bearing somewhere on the internet, but I'm not having a lot of luck on this one.

What about calling Jim's automotive machine shop.
They're on YouTube, but are a full business. Has fixed lots of various.... They're Allis fans.
But he might lead you to the prize!
Good luck. GG Wes

Looked at a 2007 oliver / white heritage catalog. .030 isn't listed..........

Sorry about the heading and the post. It was late. I'm just looking for a set of 310 rod bearings .030 us. They are actually going in a 320 that already has the same size rod bearings in with 310 rods.

Bearing companies don't want to make these bearings anymore because the engines are getting to be obsolete. I appreciate everyone's help. Sorry to make it confusing. On another note, a Ford 390 rod bearing has basically the same ID and OD as a 310, within .0005" .

You know the other word for the cornona virus is a bad word, it wouldn't let me post a message with that word in, who knew🤷‍♂️

Thanks for sharing.
We might need to do an 880 later. Thanks for sharing info. GG Wes

So what's the application other than a 320? Is it a puller 880 with a 320?

I have to imagine there still a parts house or shop with more than a few on these on a dusty shelf.

310, 283, 880, and late super 88's use these bearings if they had the 3 oil holes. Some 320's also use this bearing also. I may have missed a few applications. If maibach's don't have them, it says something. They can usually get their hands on about anything. I talked with them last summer for some bearings for a 310 diesel that they had one no one else did. They said bearing manufacturers don't want to make the bearings because of such a low usage. Maibach was talking about getting 1000 sets of rod bearings made. Have no idea if they did it or not. The bearings they had were NOS agco bearings

Sorry, I'll rephrase. What tractor is the 320 in?
I'm not sure yet, have a few choices.... Right now it will be a spare for our other 4 pulling tractors, 77, 88, super 88 diesel and 880 diesel. It may just end up in a different Super 88 that we have.
