310D engines from model 95 cotton pickers

I picked up a tractor for parts recently and the fellow had several model 95 cotton pickers with the 310D engines. I'm sure they have not run in many years, but the exhaust runs horizontal so they may not be stuck. My question is, would it be worth trying to pull the engines out of these for resale, and if so, what are they worth? I do not know the history on these as the land owner passed and the kids sold the place to a neighbor, but I can probably get them at a fair price before they are scrapped. My guess is, that they were used up until newer equipment was purchased, and have probably sat for more than 20 or so years. It would be quite a bit of work as it is a few hours away, and I'd have to haul a loader tractor up there along with tools etc., to get the job done, I'm just trying to see if it is worth it. The IH Neuss D310 and D358 have the Bosch rotary VA pumps, that have NO parts available anymore, seal kits are all I've been able to get. If any hard parts are needed good luck finding them.

The engines are desirable. Assuming they are the same as 310 engines in Farmalls, they have a great reputation. Others will chime in. Jim
