I bought a running Farmall F12 mainly for the almost new tires on the back. I was hoping they were 38" s but they are 36" s. I had brother pick it up while i was out of the country. We are gonna put rear steel back on it.

I know the F12 cutoffs really wont fit properly. I hoping to eventually come up with some Farmall H 36" cutoffs.

Now... This tractor was a daily driver of mine for about 35 years. It will never be a show tractor. However, in the purists opinions Im wondering if cutoffs are considered original. I would say no eventhough the conversions were done decades and decades ago.

At this time we dont plan on getting a new set of 38" s for it. The 36s look almost new.

Period correct yes, certainly not original. The effort to make a rubber tire tractor out of a steel wheel original was very common due to the rough ride, and harsh treatment to even gravel roads. Jim
