1973 4000 AP with IPTO.
After a couple of years of half hearted attempts to solve a clutch that wouldn't disengage I think I finally discovered the problem. Note the galled blue area on the drive input shaft - #15 in the photo. My guess is the needle bearing - #2 grenaded and quasi welded itself to the shaft.
I'm going up to the property today to pull the the front support plate #5 and remove the shaft. The tractor is split. Steering box has been removed.
I'm only bringing basic hand tools but thought I should ask the pros here if I need any other special tools to get that shaft out and bring it home.
