504 MM water in engine oil

Just bought a G705 MM that’s getting water in the engine oil.. is it possible if the water pump seal goes this could happen? Is there a weep hole in the pump it’s supposed to leak out first?

Yes very possible. I had one do it.

I had an M5 I bought that had been sitting for a few years. When I cracked open the drain plug there was some antifreeze. On that engine you can remove the filter and steel canister and look inside the engine. I could see a small clean "trail" though the oil stains in the upper left corner of the engine, right under where the water pump is. I put in fresh oil and ran it and greased the water pump with it running. That was nearly 15 years ago. Check the weep hole under the water pump. If it is open, it might be something else. If it is plugged, that might be your problem.
