63 Farmall cub Lo boy fuel bowl assembly

Been thinking along those lines, the valve stem still drips though. A shut off between the tank and filter would work better, but how to do it? The glass bowl filter works okay and looks nice but the leaky shut off valve stem still bothers me...

Repack the valve stem with a 2" strip of yellow Pipe tape twisted into a string, then wrapped around the valve stem under the nut. Jim
