I had blown a front tire on the 830 last fall and was too busy to get a new one, now the other went onbthe last bale of hay when I was baling Friday. I never did like the look of the 7.5L-15 tires that were on it.

So I bought new wider rims and a pair of 9.5L-15 tires and put them on.

Like this look better. And when I get the loader on these will work better.

Jon, tires look good. Back in 1977 I accidentally drove my 730ck front tires onto a drag in the weeds. Took out both front tires. Had no spares that size. So I took two 11Lx15 off the new hay wagon and bolted on backwards. Still on today. So in a bind turning a rim around backwards will work

They look just right.

What I like is that you felt compelled to clean up and paint the deteriorated rims. I get kidded for doing the same thing. If the opportunity presents itself, I will clean and paint. The 830 looks right with the new tires, you chose right. Thanks for the pictures.

These were new rims, mine were too narrow and I couldn't find used with the right offset. So they were cream colored and would have looked bad. I hope to paint this tractor some day, if I can ever get everything fixed. This way I won't have to take the tires off to do the rims again

I did the same thing on my 870. I found a set of wider rims and repainted them and put a set of new 9.5 L x 15. Gerald

Jon. My 830 has a different front hub then yours. It attached with four bolts that have welded tabs on the outside of the rim? I want wider rims and tires also but have no idea where to get new rims. Any ideas? Or anyone else who knows what kind of wheels these are and where to source them. Thanks, Nick

I don't think there are any wider rims for those, but you could make some if you want. You can get 6 bolt hubs for it as well. All the hubs from the 400 through the 70 series at least will fit.
