acceptable hydraulic and gear oil

For a 1974 IH 140 what are substitutes for IH Hy-Tran Fluid? I cannot get Hy-Trans. Local stores have the one's listed below. Are any of these be suitable substitutes?
1. Travelers Universal
2. Travelers ISO 46
3. Tractor Mystic JT9
4. Rotella HD
5. Hohn Deere has Hy Guard

Is Rotella 15-40W engine oil ok?

Is 80-140W gear oil ok or too thick and make shifting stiff?
All will Good to go with. No Problems.....

I lived it and had the job of maintaining an SA, C, SC, 200, and a 240. IH sold a product called "Lift Oil" for the and the viscosity would resemble Chevrolet automatic transmission fluid or power steering fluid. Knowing that, I still have been running IH HyTran fluid in the lift for my 200. It does not work as well. With the old lift oil, the implement response time was very fast. We could lift the front gangs out of the ground and with the touch control shake them fast enough to shake off some of the buildup of vines or grass. I can't do that using HyTran fluid. Otherwise, it has worked fine.

IH Super MTA. My tractor calls for Hy-Tran. My neighbor down the road works for Cat. and saves me left over pails of hydraulic oil from service runs. It is high quality and works well as a replacement. In a cold climate I would think almost any oil would be ok for an old transmission. It was below zero in Kentucky last week when I started my tractor and when I let the clutch out in neutral it killed the engine. Ellis
Any reputable brand of hydraulic oil, or transmission/ hydraulic fluid, depending on application, should serve well.
