I bought an Allis G yesterday and may need some future help. Brand new tires with nipples still on them. Engine is free and good paint, it has been barn kept. Cultivators mounted. Engine was smoking bad when parked 10years ago. So the fun begins, I know nothing about these cute little tractors, but it was built about 25 miles from me in Gadsden, Al. A guy started making a copy of these just up the road a few miles in Grant, AL. but the project never took off, he was going to market them in south America.

Sweet! Make plans to go to the G Round Up in Hokes Bluff. Bring the G. Lots of great information there. Lots of knowledge. And lots of different tractors, too 😉

I'll try to make if if I have it done by then. I am going to rebuild the engine completely and probably re-paint it even though the pint is pretty good, just dull. Are you going Kevin

Mandatory show for locals!, especially if a G owner, bring yourself even if your tractor isn’t read, we’d love to meet ya!

Got it in the shop and taking the engine out for overhaul. I will post pics of my progress.

Looks like I will have the overhaul done in time to make the show. Got the carb kit in yesterday, already have it took apart and cleaned. A little paint and should be ready. I am not repainting the whole tractor, just the engine after it was cleaned by the machine shop. I will be bringing a Peter Wright anvil I just bought as well.

It has been re-painted sometime along it's life's way, but I am leaving the old paint. The engine block was cleaned and stripped of the paint, so I am going to paint it to keep it from rusting.
