Massey 275 with 248 perkins. Doing the waterpump, noticed there was a small chunk missing from my fan pulley. Thought maybe that helped lead to the pump bearing failure, maybe the weight imbalanced it?
Jumped online with my part number, 737257M1, found a real nice OEM on ebay for $30. It arrives and I immediately notice it has a slightly bigger diameter. I measured, its 4.9 vs 5.6".
The box is marked 746571M1 and also has my part number hand written on it and circled which is the number the seller used. Did some searching and the black one is listed on the Agco website for the 265 and the 270 which use the 236 engine and the same waterpump, so there shouldn't be any water pump clearance issues. The pulleys seem to have the same depth so there shouldn't be any radiator clearance issues.
Any reason not to use this one? Worst thing I can think of is changing the belt size needed.
