Back In The Saddle Again

Once again I was in in the hospital for the past week, discharged yesterday. I'd been dealing with water retention, around heart & lungs, legs leaking since DEC when I was there for 15 days for A-FIB, high heart rate, and anemia. Still with latter issues. Now this developed into cellulitis and anti-biotics and other med changes in effect. Am on Lasix as well to help me pee often. I'm still in critical shape and have to monitor vitals - weight gain is a big concern now. I've been on a Steroid for my low Hemoglobin issue since SEP 21 and those are nasty drugs. Plan 9 has been to control and maintain my Hemoglobin to a good range - 10-15 - so I can get the Watchman Implant. Steroids cause insomnia for one side effect. The Lasix causes you to pee every 1/2- 1 hour. I don't sleep. I catch a 20 minute cat nap s few times a day if I'm lucky. Loss my voice. Wife said that's a plus. ; > ) Getting Home Nurse today for PT and to plan new attack. Cellulitis can come over and over and with new heart meds for high rate and A-FIB, numbers are looking better. I'm a walking drug store; taking meds all day long. Physical activity is limited due to 20-year old chronic arthritis issues in RH knee and LH ankle so sit most of the time and now have to keep legs elevated. No choice - life threatening conditions and I can't keep going to the ER every few weeks. All know what I'm talking about who've been there, done that. I have a daughter that's been fighting with Lupus for years and now has R.A.

I've been diagnosed with a lung disease that I can't remember what it's called or couldn't spell it if I could (Innerschinitzil or soelthing like that). But it doesn't slow me down and I don't take anything for it. Had cataract surgery last month. I also take eye drops for high eye pressure. After the cataract surgery my eyes didn't like those drops anymore and reacted negatively. So until they settle down I can't get a new prescription to correct my astigmatism But I'm up and around and get to go out today and move snow. Not with an N tractor
