Bush hog 2510 rotary mower blades???

I recently purchased a Bush hog brand 2510 rotary mower. The previous owner had removed the old blades and ordered a new set. I have the new blades and hardware, however when I have the blades in place, they appear to be about 6 inches too long, they extend past the mower. I have confirmed parts numbers online and they are correct so now I am stumped?? I have the correct set of blades on the correct sides as well. Am I missing something obvious?

Well since you probably can't return them. I would using a cut off wheel on a grinder cut them off at the correct length and go mowing with it. Might want to juist buff the sharp edges when done so you don't cut your self on them later.

I bought generics for mine and just cut the off with a torch. Then used a side grinder to them until they weighed the same.
