Can a 970 engine bolt up to a 6 speed 930

I have a 6 speed 930 with some engine issues. I know of a 970 engine that’s coming up for sale, and was wondering if that would bolt up to my 930? What changes or surprises will I run into trying to make it work?

First problem is bell housing bolt pattern is different. Secondly, 6 speed 930 all had wet clutch. So no, not an easy swap.

Thanks that is the info I was looking for, I guess I’ll be looking into rebuilding what I’ve got.
