carbrator replace or repair

I need a carberator for a COOP NR 3 with the 6 cylinder chrysler engine, 1948 or the rebuild kit.[list:6ac51dc528][/list:u:6ac51dc528]

First choice is to repair what you have, especially if it's proven itself in the past, and only needs freshening up.

Second choice is buy a reconditioned original carb. If yours is in really bad shape, sat with water in it, broken, missing pieces.

Third choice would be a new clone. But they are not the same quality as the original. Often generic fit-alls that will need modifications to the linkage. The jetting may also need to be changed.

I think thats the Chrysler industrial six ,should be able to get a kit from Mikes carburetor out west . They had what wanted ,
Used that motor in a lot of Massey Harris machines
