Case 580b throw out bearing

Hey guys! I bought an old 580b backhoe that needs a clutch and pressure plate replacement and figured I would replace the throw out bearing while it was apart. Is there a trick to getting the bearing off? I have tried pulling it off, but didn't seem to move any. Also, any idea where I can get a clutch alignment tool? Thanks

The bearing is pressed on the sleeve.
You'll need to clamp the sleeve in a vise
and drive the bearing off with a hammer.

Thanks! It came right off. I was told I had to set the preload on the pressure plate and was wondering if anyone has any advise on that?

Case's pressure plates come preset and require no adjustment, However the finger height will be affected if flywheel is worn in where the clutch plate rides, if you need to correct the flywheel any competent machine shop or someone with a large enough lathe to clamp it can do it. On those pressure plates the finger height also affects the spring tension on the cast plate due to the placement underneath the finger so try not to take any shortcuts while you are there.

Thanks for the reply. Guess I should get the pressure plate from case then instead of aftermarket. Flywheel is smooth, but slightly worn down from the clutch. I guess I should probably get that turned as well.
