Hello what do you guys know about a Drott 35 ?? What dose the BEC stand for I can't seam to find much info on the Drott's I know they were before Case . What engine ( Case ) did they use info says 4 cylinder Case , This one has a 4/53 Detroit , What years were they made ?? I can buy it for little more then iron price . Any info would be great , just looking for a farm hoe . Thanks Bryan

B=Series? EC=Extended Crawler meaning longer tracks. Only guessing as I am not a Case guy. Newer excavators sometimes have LC in their models, means long crawler.

Herk, guess I hit something before I was ready. Anyway here is s/n by year and what DWF said. Any Drott I was around had Detroit power. Case engines may have been an option, don't know. They had basic low pressure hyds as compared to today's standards.

I think early Drotts were Detroit powered, with maybe a Case engine option. Once they fell into the Case family (1968?) the Detroit became the optional engine.
