Case Model 30 Pedal Tractor

One of my good friends gave me a special gift yesterday: a 1963 Case "30" pedal tractor. When I was born in December 1962, my Aunt Mary visited the local Case dealership and bought me a new pedal tractor. I covered a lot of ground on that tractor during my childhood. Unfortunately, my original tractor was broken and thrown away sometime in the 1970s. Despite all the toys I had as a boy, the pedal tractor was always the one I remembered the most.
Fast forward to yesterday, when my friend gifted me a replacement for the pedal tractor that has been gone for almost 60 years. I am still in shock from the kindness of the friends I am blessed with. The words "Thank You" cannot adequately express the depth of my appreciation for their friendships. I love you all!
I have recreated the photo from my childhood bibs, and all for you. Enjoy!

It's a beauty. Some people say you can't look back, always look forward. Those people have no soul, aka my aunt Theresa.

Enjoy the memories you had and the ones you create with this gift.

What a great gift for you Tod! A chance to relive a positive chapter of your childhood. Enjoy!

That is awesome! Would like to have one myself but they are so expensive
I went to Herb Wetzler's (sp??) Auction in Maryland several years ago. There was a Case 800 pedal tractor and then a Case 800 Diesel tractor in very good condition. The pedal tractor sold for more than the real thing!

What a swell thing to do. Something you will never forget. My cousin has a 30, I haven't seen it in years. Below is my "800" that my Dad brought home for me back in the late 50s or early 60s I still have it. And it was brought up here, I need to decide who gets it, so it doesn't land in a undesirable lap!

Wow! That is a very nice piece, Dan. Glad you kept it this whole time. I am hopeful you have a grandchild that would be thrilled to no end to have this treasure! Take care. Nick
