Cat 1 quick hitch

It seems there are so many out there that look like they are all made by the same company. Really trying to avoid buying junk that will only last a few years. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good quality unit?

(quoted from post at 17:19:29 03/15/22) Buy a CAT 1 quick hitch that doesnt require bushings. What
tractor are you putting this on?

Show us one that is not made for cat 2 or three.

I don't have a Quick hitch but they say Speedco makes one that doesn't require any bushings which is
a big plus I would think.

I brought a set of the Pat's quick hitch pieces that fit on the ends of your hitch. I like them and
have used them on several different tractors. I like the fact that they will fit on anything as your
arms aren't fixed at one point only and width can be flex able.

Harbor Freight makes one 130$. Looks identical to the speedo. I have a speedo and the latching mechanism broke after about 4 hours of use. Easy fix, but
never the less it broke. Paid $275 for it.

The Harbor Freight QH still requires bushings on your Cat 1 implement pins.
And HF does not even sell the bushings.

We have a JD cat 1 quick hitch. With a hyd
top link. It requires bushings. But cat 2
pins will work. Bushings best. Have a
rotary cutter, box blade, 8ft. Grader
blade. Log splitter, bale carrier. One row
corn planter.hay rake. Tiller. Probably
something else. I have all of them with
stands.and can hook and unhook without
getting off. Even on unlevel ground can
just lengthen top link and just hook top.
And lift tool and carry to a level place.
Love it. And yes had to modify some of the
equipment.

I use Pat's Quick Hitches (Cast Iron) on 3 of my 4 tractors, 1 of which is Cat I the other 2 Cat II. The 4th tractor has extendable arms
and I don't need a QH.

Pats fits anything whereby others are picky as to what till fit them. My implements are Heinz 57 so I have to have something
adaptable. Have been using them for 15 or so years as I recall.
