I have a 1936 John Deere A with a cracked block and head. Are the block and head interchangable with other years?

Yes for sure they are. But the newer ones like the styled ones u need to check out part numbers. Should be enough of them old A’s sitting around.

Aa464r should be head number. They might sell a brand new one at all states ag parts but you would have to call it looks like they are out of stock online

A2324r should be block casting number part number is Aa2286r
